What did you learn in kindergarten that you wish you did a better job of applying to the way you live your life today?
- Take naps, even if you don't want to or feel like you have time.
- Pretend to be sick every now and then just to get a day off.
- Play time is never over.
I'd keep going, but the overwhelming cliche's are killing me. But really, I should have taken today off, or at least taken a nap. And I totally would rather be playing video games right now...
What have you lost that you wish you still had?

My dog.
Why do you think it is some people don't get along with you?
Well, it could be a good many things I suppose. I'm reserved, outwardly uninspiring, sarcastic, a know it all, a show off at times, a huge nerd, an awkward dork, and slightly more aloof than i should be at any given moment. There are plenty of reasons people can dislike me, and thus refuse to get along with me. I say refuse, because, except for a few RARE cases, I don't particularly dislike anyone. There are those that I'm uncomfortable around, which may rub them the wrong way, but really I try to be friendly towards everyone. In the end though, for every person that hates me, there are many more who are my friend. You can't please everyone, and thats just life. All I do is be myself. No more, no less. I'm just glad that my friends can put up with my flaws in light of my good qualities. (whatever those may be, because I think that subject is all perspective)
But yeah, I bring you kittens. GLOWING kittens. Why you say? Because I can. And there isn't all that much you can do about it at this point =)

What are you saving up for?

Except this:
But I mean, I have to have my priorities.....
(I can't use the expansion set until I reach level 60 :p)
These items, in no way shape or form, include things I'm saving up to buy for other people though. Can't spoil such surprises with a simple Vox post.
If you had a time machine, which year would you travel to and why?

You know....I've often thought about this. When i say often, I mean at least once a week. There are so many things that have happened in the world that I want to see. The Gettysburg Address? D-Day? The Bolshevik Revolution? The fall of the Berlin Wall? The life of Jesus Christ? The building of the Pyramids of Egypt? Medieval Europe in its prime? The American Revolution? Augh....I could go on. Point is, I want to see it ALL. I mean think about it, the history of the universe is like the biggest, most in-depth, unpredictable, mind boggling novel the cosmos could come up with (yes, the universe, not just Earth. I refuse to believe this little speck in the void is the only place where consciousness exists) And I'll never get to read it. And if i COULD, no human mind could fully wrap itself around the infinitesimal nuances that occur every passing second.I know, I'm a nerd, but seriously, its thoughts like that that make me envious of Historians. Its their JOB to read and understand as much of this "book" as they can in their short lives. And they get paid for it. I guess I'm too egotistical to do that however. I'd rather be the one they read about. Not in a big way, but its one of my goals to become an SFI term for some poor AP US History student someday. Yeah...well...its 2:33 AM...I should sleep.....but nah, screw that...
If your Vox Neighborhood had a potluck dinner tonight, what dish, drink or dessert would you bring?
I would totally make Blackberry Cobbler. I keep promising some to people, but keep eating it before I can bring myself to take it anywhere. Actually...we SHOULD have a big dinner someday.
Also, I'd bring cups, plates, and silverware. No one else would think to. Except Lauren, who would probably be so wrapped up in creating a confection so amazing she wouldn't have time to think of it.
No need to bring soda. Billy would do this.
What's your musical horoscope? (Put your player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.)
"Better Off Alone"-Smile Empty Soul
"I'm Not Okay"- My Chemical Romance
"Evil Angel"-Breaking Benjamin
"Scream"-Avenged Sevenfold
"Masters of War"-Bob Dylan
"Gone Forever"-Three Days Grace
"Untouched and Intact"-The Honorary Title
"Back to California"-The Wallflowers
"When You're Evil"-Voltaire
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps"-The Beatles
.....All this proves is that I have a weird taste in music. At least I hope so. Kinda funny that the first two songs came up together. Hopefully that isn't some sort of prediction of how my day will go....
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?
Submitted by enrico.
I really don't have any special ones. i generally just use the ones that come with my phone. though everyone has their own ring tone, or at least the people who call me more than every now and then do. Once I set them i rarely change them unless I have a better idea or by request on one occasion...
Which person from your past, who you've lost touch with, do you wonder about the most?

Oh man. Lets see. Considering that, with the exception of Billy, ALL my childhood friends have fallen off the face of the earth, thats a good question. I guess the one I'm most curious about is Tanner. Me and him were friends since like, before i started Kindergarten. I don't know EXACTLY how I met him really. I assume it was because my dad and his neighbor were friends (that neighbor being Brandy Atkin's mother, I havent seen her in years either) Regardless, I was over at his house all the time. Me and him were total opposites though. He was all about sports and whatnot, whereas I was perfectly happy to play video games into the wee hours of the morning. Still, we got along fairly well. In the 8th grade, he moved to Denton. I went down there a couple times and stayed the night, but eventually we just sort of fell out after a month or so. He was into drugs, and I was determined to get into Wake Forest. Guess thats how life goes. I still wonder about him sometimes though. I hope he cleaned up before it was too late, but I somehow seriously doubt this. Whatever. There are somethings we will never know, and many more we are better off not knowing...
Film & TV writers are on strike, which means everything except reality TV could halt production. Do you support the strike? Are any of your favorite shows in jeopardy?
This is one of the time I want to yell "Fight the Power!" Seriously, kudos to those guys/girls for having the balls to say "WHERES MY MONEY?" to the media. Perhaps this will start the ball rolling in the opposite direction for the media's control over the world...maybe...
In fact, I even started a Facebook Group to support the Strike, and hopefully help it.
