Well, I had posted earlier, but it got...deleted...sorta..

Anyways, I'm at work, jamming to some Weezer while reloading a couple laptops and trying to figure out why the OmniClone is being retarded (its brand new for goodness sake), and decided I really do need to put something on Vox. Yeah, life has been a little off kilter for the past week or so. Aaron's birthday party was last Wednesday, which was fun I suppose, though it would have been infinetly more enjoyable if I didn't have to repoirt to Jury Duty the next day. Luckily, that turned out to be an ok time. Any good excuse to not go to work, get twelve bucks, and read a book is fine with me. Billy stayed at my house Thursday night. That was a good time, considering him, my brother, and I just sat around killing each other on Call of Duty 4 for 6 hours. Good times. Speaking of video games! I finally got my Druid up to 69 on WoW. One more freaking level. Sadly, I have a good deal of work to get done before I level or its going to be a bitch to do. Whatever, back on track. Saturday, Lauren, Martyrplushie, and birrychrist came over for a cookout. My dad made some pretty delicious kabobs, as well as hot dogs and hamburgers. Nom nom nom. Afterwards, we dropped Billy off and went to Lauren's for some snugglin, even though everyone was tired. Sunday pretty much consisted of me couch potato-ing it with some WoW and TV. As well as a trip to Wal Mart, where some punk in Heely's found his just reward amongst a large pile of Doritos. Sweet, sweet justice.

Anyway, back to fixing these mechanical nightmares. Can't wait until tonight! Woot!

Well..right now I'm at work. Not that I'm doing any work, but I'm at it, which is basically all I get paid to do. I do one menial task a day on average (i.e. replace a keyboard, reload a hard drive, tell people, "No, just because you can't make it work, does not mean it is broken." then do whatever it is they failed at, or something else along these lines). This of course has led to a LOT of extra time to get homework done. I've narrowed down my list of things to do tonight to doing my Communications paper. Which, considering its a 3 pager with mostly summary required, may not take long at all. The point of explaining how much time I've had on my hands is to explain just how ridiculously much World of Warcraft I've been playing. Like, I'm not going to say exactly how much I've played in the past week, but its a lot. At first, this bothered me. I thought to myself "Wow...this is sad. Shouldn't I be socializing, or doing something else?" Then, about 5 minutes ago, one of my coworkers who also plays Warcraft was talking to me about her Hunter which is about a bar and a half away from lvl 70. (This of course makes me incredibly envious, but w/e) She made me realize that, just because something is incredibly nerdy, doesn't mean its a bad thing. I mean, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm gone all weekend with Lauren or my family or my friends, and even some nights during the week, I would have more cause for alarm. But, you know, while I'm at school, I shouldn't be worried about how I fill my free time. Its not like many of the people here are asking me to go places, and every time I ask them to go places, they have too much hw or are doing stuff. So, really, why should I be concerned about enjoying my hobby? I get my homework done, I socialize, I have a wonderful amazing girlfriend who I love. Whats wrong with filling the time between them however I see fit? Anyways, thats my rant for today. Now I'm off to my research session at the library.

Well, not really, but perhaps they should lol. I think I've done something at least partially related to work every day the entire break, with a few minor exceptions. This however, does not mean I didn't spend my break playing a gratuitous amount of video games and hanging with people I haven't seen in awhile, and some I can never see too much! I hung out with Lauren a couple of times, and I get to see Tasha and Alex for the first time in a long time last Friday. It was a good time, even though I think Lauren hated me for making us stay so long. All in all, its been a good break. I don't move back in until next Saturday, so I guess i better enjoy it while it lasts. Of course, I'm going to be working most of this week and cleaning buildings every night (except Thursday) this week, so I probably won't do much relaxing until I move back in at Wake. It seems really weird talking about Wake as though I'm not already there, since I'm at work right now, which is on campus. I think this place has really grown on me. At first I was like "yeah, its nice." But once I left for break I realized I missed living on campus and being in control of whatever i did, instead of trying to live around my family and its crazy schedule. But, thats life I suppose.

But speaking of work, I have edged my way in to a clique. And by clique, I mean the 5 or so people here that play World of Warcraft as much (probably more actually) as I do. It was really kind of odd lol. First, I'm sitting in the Tech shop just before lunch with one of the techs, and she asks me if I play any online games. I told her I play WoW, and then we started talking about how much the Alliance sucks and how nerdy we are but we don't care. It was pretty awesome. Then I go to lunch and, being inspired by my conversation, decide to play a bit of WoW while I take my hour lunch. In the breakroom, I find a couple of people hunched over laptops playing Warcraft like they belonged there. So I joined them and chilled for a while. Watching everyone get really nervous looking when they walked in the breakroom to get coffee or whatnot and found a bunch of nerds playing an MMO with the volume up as loud as it could go. Never have I been more amused lol.

Anyways. Yeah, Its almost quitting time and I still need to reload this piece of crap T60 so I can go the freak home!!!
